Still fighting Fisk
The O’Keeffe Museum, which lost at the appeals court level its fight to keep Fisk University from selling work by Georgia O’Keeffe in its collection to Alice Walton for Crystal Bridges Museum, has filed an appeal, culturegrrl writes.

“Cellblock Visions 2009: Prison Art in America,” curated by Phyllis Kornfeld, features outsider art coming from convicts on the inside, such as the folded paper and Ramen noodle booties above. The exhibit opens Monday in the Fine Arts Gallery of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Kornfeld will come to campus Oct. 15 and 16 to lecture on the work in the show.
