Kevin Kresse is at this minute constructing a concrete sculpture/water feature at the pocket park at 5th and Maple Streets, so I ran by and took a picture. He’s working on the body form now; a 4-foot head will be installed on rebar roughly at the place where I took this picture. The 25-foot-wide, 11-foot-tall sculpture, “Mother Earth,”  was commissioned by John Gaudin, Argenta developer; Kresse has designed and will build a sun-themed sculpture just east of “Mother Earth.”
James Rucker’s “Waterfalls Unlimited” is the company blowing the concrete.
