STOLEN — Bloomberg reports that Picasso’s “Pigeon with Peas” (above) and four other paintings were stolen earlier this morning from the Musee d’Art Moderne in Paris. The thief sawed off a padlock and entered the museum by a window, making off with the Picasso,  Matisse’s “Pastorale,” Modigliani’s “Woman with a Fan,” Braque’s “The Olive Tree Near l’Estaque” and Leger’s “Still Life with Candlesticks.”
